Come and engage with whatever you like–for free–including:
• Tabletop Games run by the Gaming Club at Syracuse University
• Show Off Your Collection–we have several faculty, staff, students, and artists who will be showing off something they collect. You can bring in something you collect to show off as well! Featuring collections from Marc Fischer (an artist from Temporary Services and Public Collections), Isiah Lavender III (SU faculty), Christy Knopf (SUNY Cortland faculty), Rachael Zubal-Ruggieri (SU staff), and the students in the School of Art’s Punk Zines class. See here for more details!
• NERF-a-Trooper–use one of our wide array of NERF blasters to tag a trooper from a distant galaxy!
• Paint and Take Miniatures–we’ve got paint and a bunch of D&D minis, you just need to paint them!
• an Art Table, for making your entry in our Art Contest, or just taking a break from all the action and doing some coloring to relax
• a room of cats, provided by Luna Cat Cafe
• Batman Figure Drawing–come up on stage and practice your figure drawing, using our Batman cosplayer as a model!
• demos on Jonathan Trier’s boardgame For the Realm, button-making, LED circuits, and cosplay boot covers.
• Cosplay Photo Booth–SU Prof Joanan Spitzner has a green screen and camera so you can take pics of your cosplay on various backgrounds!
• Comic Battle Debating: debate Chris Wildrick about who would win in your favorite comic book battles!
• Trivia Contests–we’ll run 3 fandom-themed trivia contests through Kahoot over the course of the afternoon, with winners getting some great swag and CON t-shirts!
• Everyone who comes will get a free, numbered, limited edition RISO print as their entrance badge, designed and printed by SU students Rivers Torres and Emmet Kobasa!
• Stop by the first floor of Bird Library (the seven-story brutalist building right next door to the Schine Student Center) to see a pop-up display of science fiction, cosplay, fan art, and general geekdom materials from Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) curated just for attendees of Geek/Art CONfluence 2026.
SCRC collects, preserves, and provides access to world-renowned rare and archival collections and encourages their use to facilitate personal discovery, creative works, and the creation of new knowledge. SCRC’s collections span time and format and document the history of Syracuse University and our global society through unique printed material, manuscripts, photographs, audio and moving image recordings, and more. Located on the 6th floor of Bird Library, SCRC connects the campus community and wider public to collections through our services, exhibitions, and programming.
• You can also purchase treats at the Sweet Dreams Are Baked of This table. Food is also available upstairs from a number of the Student Center’s vendors.

You can see previous years’ activities here.
